Why This Estimate Is Optimistic
This assumes zero new incoming email arrives during the entire cleanup period, which is rarely realistic for an active inbox - new messages arriving daily will extend this timeline unless cleanup time also accounts for keeping pace with new arrivals.
A Focused Block Often Beats a Slow Trickle
Dedicating one or two larger, focused blocks of time - rather than your normal small daily allotment - is often the more realistic way to actually reach inbox zero, since it outpaces the rate of new arrivals rather than merely keeping even with them.
