Your Weight Is Really a Measure of Local Gravity
Weight is not a fixed property of your body — it's the force gravity exerts on your mass at a given location. Your mass stays constant everywhere in the universe, but weight changes with the surface gravity of whatever you're standing on. A person who weighs 180 lbs on Earth would be crushed under roughly 425 lbs of force on Jupiter's cloud tops, yet would barely feel their own weight on Pluto. This calculator scales your Earth weight by each body's surface gravity relative to Earth's.
The Formula
The ratio in parentheses is fixed for each body — it depends only on that body's mass and radius, both baked into its published surface gravity value (in units of Earth's gravity, 9.80665 m/s²).

Gravity ratios are standard published NASA planetary fact-sheet values. Saturn and Uranus, despite being far more massive than Earth, have surface gravity close to Earth's because their low average density spreads that mass over a much larger radius.
