Turning a Box Score Into Fantasy Points
The same NFL performance is worth a different number of fantasy points depending entirely on your league's scoring rules. A running back who catches three short passes is worth noticeably more in a PPR (points-per-reception) league than in a standard one, even with identical yardage and touchdowns. This calculator applies the standard scoring formula — with an optional PPR toggle — to a full statline.
The Formula
Standard fantasy scoring breaks down by category:
Rushing = Yards ÷ 10 + TD × 6
Receiving = Yards ÷ 10 + TD × 6 (+ Receptions × 0.5 if PPR)
Penalties = −(Interceptions × 2) − (Fumbles Lost × 2)
The four category totals are summed, and any interceptions or lost fumbles are subtracted at 2 points each. Toggling PPR scoring adds half a point per reception on top of the receiving yardage and touchdown points — the single biggest scoring difference between league formats.

QB totals are identical between formats since PPR only affects receptions; the RB gain in the PPR column comes entirely from 3 receptions x 0.5 pt.
