Bingo Win Probability Calculator

Wondering about your odds mid-game? This calculator gives an approximate win probability based on cards in play.

Approximate Win Chance = (1 / Cards in Play) x 100

Example

30 numbers called, 40 cards in play:

Win Chance = (1/40) x 100 = ~2.5% chance any given card wins, 45 numbers remain

Why This Is an Approximation

This assumes all cards in play have statistically equal winning potential at this point in the game, which is a reasonable simplifying assumption for a large group of cards, but actual win probability for any one specific card depends on exactly which numbers have already been called relative to that card's own particular number layout.

Why More Cards in Play Lowers Individual Odds

More cards in play directly dilutes each individual card's win chance, since only one card (or pattern) typically wins per game regardless of how many total cards are in competition - this is exactly why bingo halls and online games often display total cards in play as a rough odds indicator.
