Heat Output Calculator
What Actually Reaches the Process
Heat output is the useful energy delivered to steam, hot water, or a process — the portion of heat input that survives combustion and heat transfer losses.
The Formula
Heat Output = Heat Input × Efficiency% / 100
Worked Example
A boiler with 300 kW heat input running at 82% efficiency:
Heat Output = 300 × 0.82 = 246 kW
How to Use This Calculator
- Enter the Heat Input in kW.
- Enter the equipment's Efficiency percentage.
- Select Calculate to get useful heat output.
