Confetti & Balloon Calculator: Decorate Without Running Short

Balloon decorations look thin fast if you underestimate quantities, and running out of helium mid-setup is its own kind of party foul. This calculator sizes both the balloon count and the helium tanks needed.

The Formula

Total Balloons = Guests × Balloons per Guest, Tanks Needed = ceil(Total Balloons / Balloons per Tank)

Worked Example

30 guests, 5 balloons per guest, 50 balloons per standard helium tank.

Total Balloons = 30 × 5 = 150, Tanks Needed = ceil(150/50) = 3 tanks
