K/D Ratio Calculator
The most tracked stat in competitive shooters
K/D ratio is a simple comparison of kills to deaths, widely used as a quick performance snapshot in shooter games - though it captures nothing about objective play, team support, or overall contribution to actually winning matches.
Worked example
For 45 kills and 30 deaths:
K/D = 45 / 30 = 1.5
| K/D Ratio | General Interpretation |
|---|---|
| Below 1.0 | More deaths than kills |
| 1.0 | Equal kills and deaths |
| Above 1.0 | More kills than deaths |
Many competitive players consider K/D a secondary stat compared to win rate and objective-based metrics, since it's entirely possible to have a strong K/D while contributing little to actually securing match objectives.
