Convert a raw exam score, either correct answers out of total questions or points earned out of points possible, into a percentage and letter grade.
Final Grade Calculator
Calculate the exact score needed on a final exam to reach a target overall course grade, based on your current grade and the exam's weight percentage.
GPA Calculator
Calculate a credit-weighted grade point average from letter grades and credit hours across up to eight courses, with a full quality-point breakdown shown.
Grade Calculator
Combine homework, quiz, midterm, and exam scores into one overall course grade using each component's actual weight, with the resulting letter grade shown.
High School GPA Calculator
Calculate an unweighted high school GPA on the standard 4.0 scale from letter grades and credit hours, the baseline figure many colleges recompute themselves.
Letter Grade Calculator
Convert a numeric percentage score into its corresponding letter grade and GPA point value using the standard US high school and college grading scale.
Lexile Score Calculator
Look up the typical published Lexile reading range and midpoint for a grade level from Kindergarten through Grade 12, based on Common Core text standards.
Reading Level Calculator
Calculate the Flesch-Kincaid grade level and reading ease score for a passage of text from its word count, sentence count, and syllable count.
SAT Score Calculator
Estimate an SAT composite score out of 1600 from raw correct answers on the Reading and Writing and Math sections using the College Board's linear scaling.
Scholarship Calculator
Calculate the remaining scholarship funding gap after subtracting the expected family contribution and any aid already received from total college cost.
Semester GPA Calculator
Calculate the grade point average for a single current semester from letter grades and credit hours, kept separate from your cumulative GPA history.
Study Time Estimator
Estimate weekly and daily study time needed for a course based on credit hours and difficulty level, using the standard hours-per-credit study rule.
Target Average Score Calculator
Calculate the average score needed across your remaining tests to reach a target overall average for the semester.
Test Score Percentile Calculator
Calculate your percentile rank on a test from the number of test takers who scored below you and the total number of test takers.
Weighted GPA Calculator
Calculate a weighted GPA that adds bonus points for Honors and AP or IB coursework on top of standard letter grade points, on a scale that can exceed 4.0.
Grades That Actually Compare
A grade only means so much on its own — a B in an AP class and a B in a standard class do not represent the same workload, which is exactly why weighted GPA systems exist. These sixteen calculators cover grading, GPA, and standardized test score math.
Worked Example: Weighted vs Unweighted GPA
| Course | Grade | Unweighted Points | Weighted Points |
|---|---|---|---|
| AP Chemistry | A | 4.0 | 5.0 (+1.0 for AP) |
| Honors English | A | 4.0 | 4.5 (+0.5 for Honors) |
| Standard Math | B | 3.0 | 3.0 (no weight) |
Averaged across these three courses, unweighted GPA comes to 3.67 while weighted GPA comes to 4.17 — the same grades producing a meaningfully different number purely from course difficulty weighting. Most schools use a +1.0 bump for AP/IB courses and +0.5 for Honors, though this varies by district. Calculate your own with the Weighted GPA Calculator.
